Did she just fob me off?

I walked to work today, and figured I'd send Luna a message about tomorrow, just to 'touch base'. So when I got into the office, I sent her "my office is at [address], see you tomorrow! :)"

As usual, I went out at around 12ish to get lunch / go for a walk. I scoped out some new territory for lunch ideas and bumped into Hayley. We had a brief chat. I mentioned my contract was only for 12 months, she asked me what I was going to do and then added "going to the bar? I'll brief you". If only. It sounded good, but I am fairly sure she is the type who doesn't mean what they say.

I went to a men's wear shop to check out their sale, then to the post office to buy a box to send Abi his trophy (I know, it's been shamefully long), then to the supermarket to get a bottle of water as I was fed up with paying $2.50 for a bottle of freakin' water. I ended up buying a box of pasta from the shop below my office, and when I settled back down at my desk, saw Luna had just sent some messages!

Her @ 12:56 - If u didnt have lunch yet I wonder whether we can have today?

Her @ 12:58 - Since I suddenly have class tmr morning and Im not sure how long it's going to take

Me @ 12:59 - oh sorry Luna I am eating now :(

Me @ 13:00 - maybe you can let me know tomorrow how you are going?

Me @ 13:01 - or after work if that is better?

Her @ 13:44 - We will see tmr

My initial reaction was that it was a genuine re-schedule. But after some more thinking, I was beginning to wonder if she was fobbing me off. I mean, sending me the messages at 1pm via Kakaotalk, which I may not even see? Why not SMS? Maybe she was hoping she'd send it through, I'd read it long after 1pm, and it would be too late to accept her offer, so at least she 'tried'.

Another thing is, do I try to re-schedule if tomorrow she says she is busy, or do I accept it as fate and move on? Damn, she was the one who made me feel I didn't need to go whoring anymore. Guess not...
