You know what, I was thinking about this a bit, and thought it a bit strange that Michael L is getting everyone to make statements. I am pretty sure it's marriage related, and I don't like the sounds of it. What on earth do these people know about making statements? Do they know to make it in the absence of other people making statements? Do they know they could be cross-examined on it years later? Do they know what can and cannot be said in a statement?

More specifically, my concern related to Ele. I didn't want to see her get into trouble. So I thought about calling her to talk to her about it. That thought became more and more right in my mind - I had to talk to her before seeing her in the presence of the others tomorrow night.

So after dinner, I called. No answer.

That was about 35 minutes ago, and it doesn't look like she'll call back.

And now I'm angry. It's pretty rude to ignore and not return people's calls. It's one thing to ignore it if you're trying to send a message that you're not interested, but it's another to do that and then send mixed signals when you're around.

Fuck it, I'm not going to do it tomorrow. They can do whatever they want. Don't blame me, blame her for not answering her phone. I was just trying to look out for her, but if she doesn't want it, then fine.

But dude, you've never really answered any of her calls.

Wow, I just found out that the book "The Rules" teaches women that, if they want to snag the man, to not call him or return their calls. Stupidest thing I have ever read.
